Psalms 32: The Lutheran Psalm

I call this Psalm the Lutheran Psalm for two reasons. First, it was one of Martin Luther’s favorite Psalms. Second, it embodies Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith”. As you read this Psalm, picture David as his body wastes away due to hidden sin. Like Martin Luther and millions of Saints throughout the centuries, David comes face to face with his own sin and and is joyfully transformed by the freedom that only comes through Christ.
