Do you ever wonder why many people only attend church on Christmas and Easter?
Perhaps that is the only time they hear the basics of the birth, death, burial, resurrection, and future return of Christ. The rest of the year they may hear some scattering of bible verses, vague praise songs, and a sermon on how to be a better person.
What if we treated every Sunday of the year like Christmas and Easter? What if people are longing to celebrate Christmas and Easter every week?
What if we were to regularly talk about the Father, the Son, and the Spirit? What if we regularly proclaimed the death, burial, resurrection, and future return of Christ? What if we regularly talked about the sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist?
Perhaps those that only attend on Christmas and Easter might attend more often.
